Mikaela prepared for the at home. And after some thought it was clear that they couldn't find a suitable horse in the stables. Maral was too shy and took travel and stress too badly, it was one thing to do endurance with him, where it was only them most of the time, but a trail with over 40 Participants was a different thing. Some other horses were not good with the travel as well, had to tight packed schedules already or in VNVs case, the Boss said that he would risk the studs health for nothing.

Mikaela was left with the "stud book" a collection of cards with horses and their data, what they looked like, what their character was and what they had achieved to date. Her eyes fixed on the card of Dangerzone, which was currently on lease to Steampunk Stables, but could be brought back for events if the leasing stable had no urgent use for her. Cathy joined in and looked at Mika.
"What brought you to THAT one?"
"Looks... probable" Mika answered after some hesitation, she disliked Cathy somewhat, because everything she said had some extra bitter tone and her comments were not very welcome at the moment. "I look for a horse to cross the Sprengisandur." No futher explanation.

About a week later the horse arrived at the stables. Happily greeting... the Boss and your typical pissy mare to most other people around. She was not instant friends with Mikaela either, but due to her training at Steampunks she was manageable enought to start working. Mikaela spend every day with her for another week, training to ride in her costume, to adapt it to the needs of riding and to get to know the quirks and the mind of the horse better. The Boss came along every once in a while to check how they were doing and Mika answered:" She jumps. I know why you wrote that on her character page. I wondered - but know now."
