Artist's Comments

A picture of Da Capos history shortly before he joins a wild herd (called "Fliegende Mähnen" hopefully proper translation would be flying manes)

He is a TBXTarpan (ancient wild horse from europe, extinct) cross produced in a laboratory.
He should be brought to a scientific exhibition, but on the way he got scared (he doesn't like to be alone) and angry and kicked the door in. He fell out of the trailer, was badly injured (he will survive, don't panic^^) and left there. (wouldn't look good to present an insane breeding sensation?)
Someone found him, brought him back on his own hooves and carried him to the next horse market... might get the meat price for him...

(I hate it to think about people eating horses. I know it's inconsequent to care only about horses, since cattle and pigs do feel pain aswell... well... I don't know... I hate it to see restaurants or butchers advertising horse meat...
that's disgusting...)

god, you´re right! >.< I hate to think about people who eat horses, too... to be honest, eating another animals (pigs, cows and so on) isn´t nice, too -.-

I never eated horsemeat.. I cant stand other eat it either >_< And I dont like to eat other animal meat either for that sake.. ugh..But i still eat some chicked and fish... Its kinda bad too. but well.. At least i dont eat horses and other animals. It also make me sick when i see pig heads on the tables.. X__x

Your drawing is good, but kinda sad too.. Good to know hes gonna be ok :)

i never forgave myself for this, but my teacher came back from japan, and had us try some jerkey. Then she wanted us to guess what type of jerkey it was....it tasted like fish, kinda gross :bleh:.

well, no one knew what it really was, and when the lips of my sick teacher formed the words "horse", i nearly passed out :faint:

so yeah, DOWN WITH HORSE SLAUGHTER!!

That's a real cruel joke. She must have known that there are many people who don't want to eat horse meat.

not your fault

if you travel to Iceland one day, just keep in mind, that cattle and pigs can't survive in this cold area, so if you eat meat, then ask before. It's possible you get some horse.
