DLS - Kaosi

"Discord?"... there wasn't much motion in the voice of those who said it. Neither of the DLS staff ever heard of that breed before, but the Boss did and his foible for rare breeds succeded once again over any reason.

There wasn't much known of the horse in that trailer, that slowly came up the driveway to the main building.
"I wonder if he found something, that is even worse than the two nightmares we have..." Blanche stated.
"Or the Harlequine nuts..." Anna added.
"It's very quite in that trailer...". The truck stopped.
"Maybe it had to be sedated?"

The door was opened and a strikingly beautiful black mare stepped backwards out of the trailer. Her ears were flickering, her nostrils flaring as she tried to capture every detail of that new place she saw. The handler took the rope away and let her stand loose only bridled with very fragile tack. She didn't run away.

"Wow..." was the first thing Blanche could say.
Anna was sceptical though.
"You should know that beauty on the outside must not be found on the inside?... Maybe it's just the calm before the storm and she blows off in a minute..."

The minute passed, and then another one... finally the truck driver returned to his vehicle and went back down the driveway.
Kaosi started walking around slowly. The sound of the gravel under the green hoves fascinated her for a while, then she simply moved on to a messy grassy area, that was the beginning of the parque. She drew herself up to her full height, seemingly pleased with her new home.

Her eyes were sparkling against her dark coat and she seemed to say.
"Ready if you are..."

We bought Kaosi from WDR Stables and are more than happy to have her. She is not only rare, but a lovely horse: willing to work, friendly with everyone and steadfast. We will see how she does in DLS, but if you look at her you understand why we have that high hopes.
